Lancashire Hounds, Hilton Street

The Lancashire Hounds used to stand somewhere on Hilton Street in the city centre (or Northern Quarter), before the licensee, Samuel Senior, took the name with him to the Jolly Hatters on Bengal Street, in old Ancoats [1].  The Jolly Hatters became the Old Lancashire Hounds, renamed by Mr Senior, and what became of the pub on Hilton Street is, as yet, unknown.
