Beehive, Jersey Street

The Beehive was opposite the Beehive Mill in old Ancoats (now home to Sankey's Soap club).  It began trading in 1815 and became a Whitefield Brewery pub, but had closed by 1909 as a JW Lees house, like its neighbour, the New City Inn [1].
