Former location of Admiral Haddock or Parsonage House, Parsonage Lane. (c) googlemaps.
Down the right hand side of the Slug & Lettuce on Deansgate is a passage which back in the day used to be a continuation of Parsonage Lane. The only bit of Parsonage Lane left these days is a short stub to the rear, shown above. The Admiral Haddock or Parsonage House public house (as it's referred to on the map ) was half way down on the left as you look down the lane today . The pub backed onto the White Lion which stood on Deansgate.
