St Peter's Hotel, George Street

The 1849 map shows the St Peter's Hotel on the corner of George Street and Dickinson Street [1].  It's possible that the St Peter's Hotel we have on Booth Street is this one, but the widths of the streets just don't match the 1929 photo.  So, for the time being we'll leave them as separate entries.  This St Peter's Hotel backed onto the Scotch Church (Presbyterian), which in turn faced the larger St Peter's Church which used to form the centre piece of St Peter's Square.
