New Castle & Falcon Club, Dantzic Street

New Castle & Falcon Club, Dantzic Street, 1992. (c) deltrems at flickr.

This club presumably opened in response to the impending or actual closure of the Castle & Falcon round the corner on Bradshaw Street . From the below picture it looks like the New Castle & Falcon was on the lower part of Dantzic Street, off Shude Hill, just north of the Printworks as indicated.

  1. This was on dantzic street near the Shudehill end between Thorniley brow and Well street (i think). the insides were black, silver and had pictures of Monroe, McQueen etc on the walls. It reminded me of a bar designed for the clientelle of Canal Street, it seemd to shut at 2am but then have lock-ins every weekend where i remember drinking until 6am with a strange range of punters from post office workers to office guys hiding out from their wives
