Old Trumpet Inn, Bridgewater Street

Further down Bridgewater Street from the Navigation was the Old Trumpet Inn [1]. Pleasingly, the old street layout of 160+ years ago is retained to today in this area as new flats are erected where old terraced and courted dwellings once stood. The Barton Street corner marks the exact site of the Old Trumpet. The Crown (now Deansgate) can just be seen down the street, across Deansgate.
