Red Lion, Red Lion Street

The Red Lion stood here from the early 19th century until the early to mid 20th century.  I'm not sure if the pub took up the whole building shown or just the left side.  The section to the right was once a gallery, where it exhibited sets from the excellent but underrated BBC series, Cutting It.

There is barely a record of this pub anywhere, and only the road's name led us to suspect the building was a pub, as we clocked it leaving the Unicorn, from this view:
