Save the historic pubs



This letter from the mysterious Grizzlers appeared in the Manchester Evening News on Monday. We heartily echo its sentiments regarding the likely demolition of the historic Crown & Cushion, plus others such as the Ducie Bridge and Angel (Beer House) which also appear to be at risk from this development.

  2. Yep, a D-Day of 5/1/11 has been confirmed by at least three separate sources now. Seems like it's a done deal already.

  3. I think so. Not to say there shouldn't be a campaign to try and save the C&C, if only to embarrass the parties involved.

  4. It's needed we should save our priceless treasures, just on the name of development we can't loose our historical places which worth a lot for us.
